From Caroline, the founder of Chenora — a story of how a love for crochet, micro crochet, and handmade artistry grew into a heartfelt platform for artisans.

I’ve always loved crochet. There’s something incredibly grounding about working with yarn — the rhythm of the stitches, the softness in your hands, the way something slowly takes shape with care and patience. It’s been my comfort and creative outlet for as long as I can remember.

Then one day, I discovered micro crochet — and it stopped me in my tracks.

I was amazed by what these artisans could create with nothing but a single strand of thread and the tiniest hook imaginable. The precision. The beauty. The way they could capture the essence of a flower petal, a leaf, or an entire bloom in something no bigger than a fingertip. From crochet flowers to tiny crochet earrings, the art was delicate, intricate, and full of emotion.

That was the moment Chenora was born.

Not just as a brand, but as a platform. A way to give artisans the spotlight they deserve. I created Chenora to celebrate this extraordinary handmade world — where micro crochet flowers, crochet accessories, and artisan jewelry come to life, stitch by stitch. A place where the world can discover and fall in love with micro crochet, just as I did.

Chenora is also here to support the hands behind every crochet bookmark, handcrafted bracelet, and handmade gift — many of whom are mother-artisans working quietly from their homes. Through Chenora, I hope to provide not just visibility, but also opportunities, resources, and heartfelt recognition for these makers.

At its heart, Chenora is about celebrating the small, the intricate, the handmade — and the human stories woven into every thread.

With love,
Caroline
